स्विस बैंकों में किन भारतीयों के बैंक खाते हैं, इस बात से कल पर्दा उठने वाला है. दरअसल, स्विट्जरलैंड में बैंक खाते रखने वाले भारतीय नागरिकों की जानकारी कल से टैक्स अधिकारियों के पास उपलब्ध हो जाएगी.

इस कदम को लेकर केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) ने कहा, 'काले धन के खिलाफ सरकार की लड़ाई में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है और स्विस बैंकों के गोपनीयता का युग आखिरकार सितंबर से खत्म हो जाएगा.' सीबीडीटी आयकर विभाग के लिए नीति बनाता है. वहीं सीबीडीटी ने बताया कि भारत को स्विट्जरलैंड में भारतीय नागरिकों के साल 2018 में बंद किए खातों की जानकारी भी मिलेगी.

सीबीडीटी का कहना है कि सूचना आदान प्रदान की यह व्यवस्था शुरू होने के ठीक पहले भारत आए स्विट्जरलैंड के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने राजस्व सचिव एबी पांडेय, बोर्ड के चेयरमैन पीसी मोदी और बोर्ड के सदस्य (विधायी) अखिलेश रंजन के साथ बैठक की. 29-30 अगस्त के बीच आए इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल की अगुआई स्विट्जरलैंड के अंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्त मामलों के राज्य सचिवालय में कर विभाग में उप प्रमुख निकोलस मारियो ने की.

कितना है काला धन?

इस साल लोकसभा में जून महीने में वित्त पर स्टैंडिंग कमिटी की एक रिपोर्ट पेश की गई थी. इसके मुताबिक साल 1980 से साल 2010 के बीच 30 साल के दौरान भारतीयों के जरिए लगभग 246.48 अरब डॉलर यानी 17,25,300 करोड़ रुपये से लेकर 490 अरब डॉलर यानी 34,30,000 करोड़ रुपये के बीच काला धन देश के बाहर भेजा.

“We stand in solidarity with Sikh brothers in Pakistan who are there at Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib to support the demand of Sikh father whose daughter, Jagjit Kaur was forcefully converted to Islam. I appeal to Sikhs all across the world to stand against forced conversions in Pak,” he said in another tweet.

Indian cricketer  Harbhajan Singh also condemned the incident. “This need to stop here.let’s not get there.every religion is beautiful.don’t force anyone to convert in any..GOD is one..let god only decide which religion we born in.don’t try to become god yourself.strict action should be taken towards this @ImranKhanPTI @DrSJaishankar,” Singh said on micro-blogging site.

Daughter of a Sikh Granthi (priest), the girl was kidnapped by some unidentified men in Nankana Sahib, which happens to be the birthplace of Guru Nanak - the founder of Sikhism. The video of the ‘nikah’ has gone viral. The girl, who is visibly disturbed, is seen uttering few verses from Quran. She even declares in the video that she is marrying the boy, identified as one Mohammad Ehsaan, on her own will. She also claims in the video that she is 19. However, her brothers have said that the girl is between 16 and 17 years.
